Doors bars may be fitted to one side<\/li><li>Door bars can be fitted with up to M4 sized bolts<\/li><li>Passenger side plates to be no bigger than 40x40mm, 3mm thick<\/li><li>Maximum of 2 passenger side plates permitted<\/li><li>Side plates can be fitted with up to M4 sized bolts<\/li><li>Roof plates can be fitted on the outside of the car, this can be up to 3mm maximum thickness GRP, carbon or Aluminium Composite, It must not protrude outside the roof line and a maximum of 10mm back from the cage bolts<\/li><li>Roof plates can be fitted with up to M4 sized bolts<\/li><li>Watertanks are permitted but must not be mounted further forward than the front wheels<\/li><li>Watertanks to be a maximum of 3mm thickness GRP, Carbon or Aluminium composite<\/li><\/ul><p>Washers<\/p><ul><li>Should only be mounted with 1 bolt and should fall away when this bolt is removed<\/li><li>Washers to be no bigger than 25x25mm and a maximum thickness of 3mm GRP, carbon or Aluminium Composite may be used (this will be enforced from September 2026)<\/li><li>*Until September 2026 40x40mm, 3mm thick washer will still be permitted*<\/li><\/ul><p>Bonnets<\/p><ul><li>To be mounted with no more than 4 fixings<\/li><li>Should be removable<\/li><li>Crush tubes to be no bigger than 20x20mm and no higher than 40mm.\u00a0<\/li><li>Bonnets under 90mm long can be riveted on and non-removable<\/li><li>Bonnet bolt size to be no more than M4 sized bolts<\/li><\/ul><p>Repairing a shell<\/p><ul><li>Repairs must be made with 0.5mm aluminium flat plate<\/li><li>Repairs must not change the silhouette of the car<\/li><li>Repairs must not take the car over 4000g<\/li><li>Repairs can be fitted to the car with 2.4mm rivets or m3 bolts<\/li><li>No bonding material\/chemicals to be used<\/li><\/ul><p>Strengthening<\/p><ul><li>Strengthening must be done with 0.5mm aluminium flat plate<\/li><li>0.5mm aluminium can be folded and rolled, but we must be able to see its 0.5mm, any concerns on material\/thickness being used you will be asked to show us the folds in the metal<\/li><li>Strengthening can be fitted to the car with 2.4mm rivets or M3 sized bolts<\/li><li>No bonding material\/chemicals to be used<\/li><\/ul><p>Roof fins<\/p><ul><li>Fin plates to be no higher than 60mm from roof line of car<\/li><li>Novelty fin plates must follow this rule.<\/li><li>Fin plates can be no thicker than 0.5mm alloy or ABS.<\/li><li>When racing on carpet indoors only ABS roof fins are permitted<\/li><\/ul><p>Miscellaneous<\/p><ul><li>Roof grades must be run and cover the whole profile of the roof<\/li><li>If weights being added to the car, this must only be wheel weights that are securely fastened within the car.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-5852\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Stock Car Rules<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-5852\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-5852\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_3\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_3_5 et_pb_column_4 et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_2 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>This formula is graded and your roof colour must be in the correct grade colour . Cars will be lined up in graded order around the track .<\/p><p>Racing is in an CLOCKWISE direction at all times.<\/p><p>No marshalling is allowed at Freshfields raceway and you must stand behind the outer barrier at all times \u2013 you are only permitted onto the track when all cars have come to a halt.<\/p><p>This is a contact formula \u2013 spinning cars out and forceful fencing is within the rules but deliberate head ons ,roof shots \u00a0and deliberately hitting stationary cars is not allowed and will result in a black flag .<\/p><p>There is no opposite allowed in this formula . If you are spun anywhere on the track you must turn the car around and proceed in the correct racing direction immediately .<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">If a car is touching the inside wall, it is deemed as on the shale\/Safety area, no deliberate hitting a car in the safety area.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row et_pb_row_4\"><div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et_pb_column_6 et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough et-last-child\"><div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_3 et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>If a black flag is pointed at your car during a race you have been deemed to have broken the racing rules and must pull your car into the centre \/ safety area immediately . If you continue to race after a black flag you will be loaded for the rest of the meeting .<\/p><p>At the end of each race a red flag will be waved you must bring your car to an immediate stop . Any hits after the red flag will see any points you have scored in the race removed and you will be loaded.<\/p><p><strong><u>CONSTRUCTION RULES .<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><u>GENERAL .<\/u><\/strong><\/p><p>This formula is still in development so the rules will be under constant review and are likely to change .<\/p><p>Only Hooked Racing cars to be raced in the series \u2013 in order that all cars are equal.<\/p><p>Cars not to be altered except for the driver\u2019s choice of Springs, Gearing and tyre compound.<\/p><p>We race for fun and urge all of our drivers and mechanics to help and support each other . Any abusive behavior to our staff or any other participant will not be tolerated and you will receive no further bookings to race with us . There is no going on opposite on either straight , if spun on either straight you must you must turn your car and proceed in the correct racing direction immediately.<br \/>If a car is touching the inside wall, it is deemed as on the shale\/Safety area, no deliberate hitting a car in the safety area.<\/p><p>If a black flag is pointed at your car during a race you have been deemed to have broken the racing rules and must pull your car into the centre \/ safety area immediately . If you continue to race after a black flag you will be loaded for the rest of the meeting .<\/p><p>At the end of each race a red flag will be waved you must bring your car to an immediate stop .
